    Interpretation Specialist

Elin has over fifteen years’ experience of engaging audiences with collections, ideas and places across the cultural sector, including Museum of London, Science Museum, V&A, the Natural History Museum and the National Trust. She is passionate about igniting people’s curiosity through creative storytelling and imaginative experiences.

Prior to joining Nissen Richards in 2017, Elin was responsible for the planning and delivery of all interpretation across the Natural History Museum in London. She has considerable experience of interpretive planning and delivery, and has led interpretation development across a diversity of projects, including numerous temporary exhibitions, international touring exhibitions and permanent gallery masterplan delivery, such as the V&A’s Medieval and Renaissance Galleries and the Hintze Hall transformation at the Natural History Museum. She cares about creating experiences that work for their intended audiences and has an excellent understanding of learning in informal settings and the communication of complex subjects to non-specialist audiences.

Elin trained as an archaeologist at University College London and graduated in 2002.
