    Motion designer

    Jānis joined Nissen Richards Studio in 2018. He has a particular interest in working with moving image, graphics, interactives and virtual reality, and how these tell stories in different environments. His ambition is to propose different ways of narration, engaging people in fresh, astonishing visual journeys.

    He graduated Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Media and Culture/ Man and Communication department. Jānis has completed various freelance projects, including work commissioned by the Dutch National Opera, presented at the Opera Forward Festival 2018.

    At Nissen Richards Jānis is working on various exhibition projects, allowing the team to weave in moving image and digital media into the visitors’ journey.
