Tetsuro has been working with Pippa since 2006 and was part of the office when Nissen Richards was established in 2011. Tetsuro has worked as the project designer and architect on a number of exhibitions and architectural projects. Exhibition work includes at: the British Museum; V&A Museum; Design Museum; and for the permanent Nature’s Library gallery at the Manchester Museum. In addition, he has worked on several residential and cultural projects, including the Lydia and Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre at the V&A Museum. He is currently working on the refurbishment of the prestigious Sir Joseph Hotung Gallery at the British Museum, due to open November 2017.

His interests lie in the potential for architecture to convey stories about a society and he has designed several small scale site-specific installations that investigate collective memories and communication. He has been a guest critic and tutor at the Bartlett (UCL) and UCA Canterbury, and studio tutor at Brighton University.
