Paths to Utopia

This exhibition at the Inigo Rooms, King’s College, is a collection of a series of collaborations between artists and academics. New works were created and commissioned for the show, including artists Le Gun Collective and Caitlin Shepherd.

We designed an immersive installation as well as designing the overall graphic design and branding for the exhibition. It is part of the Utopia 2016 at Sommerset House and the Courtauld Institute and Gallery; which is a season of special events, celebrating the 500th anniversary of Thomas More’s text Utopia.

The visitor is asked to walk through our installation which uses a metallic fabric that holds it shape, with a print of a landscape. This has been shaped into a landscape that covers all sides, and the floor, and a strategically placed mirror makes this seem to extend.
