Urbantine Project

What can we do with the reams of paper that are generated in today’s supposed paperless office? How can we raise awareness about the amount of paper that we consume in the day to day functioning of a workspace?

The paper by-products of digital communication became the building blocks that form the walls of ‘The Inbox’, the papers are punched and stacked in bundles, on metal rods reminiscent of desktop paper spikes.

Our shortlisted design was a way to preserve these abandoned thoughts, while it creates not only a device to highlight the wastage of a paperless office, but also to create an archive of discarded conversations.
