Tomos joined Nissen Richards Studio in 2017 having previously worked for a variety of architectural practices in London and Oslo. His experience is diverse including installation work with the architectural practice Fantastic Norway, and the design of the new headquarters for the Royal College of Pathologists for Bennetts Associates.
Tomos is a graduate of the ESALA department from the University of Edinburgh. His Masters thesis was a culmination of his interests in architecture: locality of place, people and their identities. His work investigated the notion of home amongst the nomadic Gypsy Traveller community of Britain, which had been the subject of very limited academic research until this point.
Beyond architecture, Tomos assists with a small publishing house in the re-publication of rare out of print works along with new publications from the likes of Iain Sinclair. Additionally, he enjoys exploring London on foot and country by bike.
