Alice Shanahan

Architectural Assistant / Designer

Alice joined Nissen Richards in 2024, after graduating with distinction from the Bartlett School of Architecture.  She received the Third Year Drawing Prize, and was a Norman Foster Foundation Scholar.

Her university work focused on issues of representation alongside atmosphere and construction. Her final year project explored overlooked constituents of architectural space; her thesis discussed the exploration of surface and its treatment, and responded to the history of the architectural drawing.

She is currently working on a number of exhibition and cultural projects in the studio.

Outside of the studio Alice is also an accomplished musician, and enjoys going to exhibitions, travelling, reading and running.
