Amelia Bloore

Associate / Head of Interpretation

Amelia joined Nissen Richards Studio in 2015, and has worked with us on a number of roles across the practice.

Amelia leads our interpretation and content work across diverse projects within the cultural section. She brings skills in a range of interpretation tasks, including content research, interpretive planning, and text writing. She also works closely with the exhibition designers during the early stages of a project to help shape ideas and concepts.

Her work at Nissen Richards Studio has included interpretation and curation of the Art of Data exhibition at Bletchley Park and interpretation development for Brooke Dockyard Museum, a new industrial heritage museum in Kuching, Sarawak. She is currently working on the Shoemakers Museum, a new museum in Street, Somerset that will explore the stories and people behind Clarks shoes, interpretation development for the transformation of Newark Castle and Gardens, and a new visitor centre in Iceland for Vatnajökull National Park.

Amelia’s background in Classics, which she studied at the University of Bristol, has given her a strong interest in people and stories. She enjoys discovering content and narratives that have the ability to capture people’s attention.
