Guy joined Nissen Richards in 2026 after graduating with a 1st class MA (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh. His fourth-year dissertation was nominated for the Highlands and Islands Architectural Association Student Award, while his final-semester design project received the ESALA Tectonics Award for the best integration of technology and environment. This latter work explored the reclamation and inhabitation of a series of derelict sites in the Scottish seaside town of Dunbar, reimagining each through small-scale timber interventions. Their construction and maintenance provide test beds for sustainable construction techniques as well as the renewal of Dunbar’s urban and social fabric.

In his spare time, Guy enjoys walking, biking and spending time outdoors, particularly on the Western isles of Scotland.
