Katica Puga
Senior Exhibition Designer / Architectural Designer
Kati is a multidisciplinary designer whose work spans architecture, art, and design, with a focus on creating spaces and objects that foster social change and bring people and cultures together. She advocates for creative practices that generate social value and contribute to a more just and equitable society.
Her practice is grounded in her architectural training at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where she graduated with distinction and received professional recognition as an Architect in Chile. Following her passion for the arts and design, she studied under renowned figures such as Glenn Murcutt and Eugenio Dittborn and participated in art residencies at the Institut für Alles Mögliche in Berlin and Sydney Art Space.
She deepened her engagement with the cultural sector through a diploma in Communications and Cultural Management at the University of Chile, and later, an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London, and received a distinction for both. Her research there explored themes of place identity and ethical urban development.
Blending artistic vision with innovative spatial thinking, she has worked extensively in exhibition and museum design. She was part of the Chilean design studio Encaje and later became the in-house exhibition and spatial designer at the National Maritime Museum. In 2025, she joined Nissen Richards Studio, where she is currently contributing to the development of a new museum housed within a historic building.
She is currently working toward her Part 3 registration in the UK, further expanding her architectural credentials and professional development.
Outside of her professional practice, she enjoys working with ceramics and sculpture, and spending time outdoors running and hiking.
