Loukis Menelaou
Architectural Assistant / Designer
Loukis joined Nissen Richards Studio in 2025, after earning a distinction in his Master’s degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture.
His research focuses on narrative-driven architecture and the dynamic interplay of history, identity, and space, often explored through film and other time-based media. Before joining Nissen Richards, Loukis worked extensively in the visual arts, collaborating closely with artists on the production of large-scale installations and video works for institutions across Europe and America. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Bartlett School of Architecture, leading workshops on digital skills and filmmaking in architecture for undergraduate students.
Outside the studio, Loukis enjoys visiting exhibitions, cycling, and planning his next getaway to a sun-soaked destination.
