Robin Kiang

Senior Exhibition Designer

Robin has over 15 years experience delivering and leading the design for exhibitions and museums, and his completed projects include major works for the British Museum, the Royal Academy of Arts, the National Gallery, the National Maritime Museum and the Natural History Museum.

He has been a Head of Design at two national museums and has worked in practice with leading design and architectural consultants. With an educational background that ranges from Fine Art, Graphic Design and  Architecture – gaining a BA (hons) degrees in each, Robin feels he has found a perfect articulation of these creative disciplines within the multi-disciplinary and collaborative area of the cultural and heritage sector.

Joining Nissen Richards Studio in 2025, Robin is currently working on a major refurbishment of a permanent museum in Malaysia and continues to be appreciative of the opportunity to give expression to local and national stories, and engage these with diverse audiences – as well as thankful of being able to contribute to the cultural landscape and discourse that so frequently accompanies this area of work.
